Welcome to The Gardens of Park Hills

Originally built as
the Blue Star Tavern Restaurant on Dixie Highway in what was
known as the “Gourmet Strip”, the building has an
extensive and very glamorous history, including the likes of
President John F. Kennedy.
The building was eventually renamed the Town & Country and
operated as such until 1997, when it was again sold and renamed
Wood Brothers Bar and Grill.
In 2003, McHale’s Catering & Event Specialists took over ownership and restored this historically significant building in a way that speaks to its past.
Completely renovated in 2003, The Vista Room radiates elegance. The Vista Room features a tuscany garden theme with a beautiful color scheme, chandeliers and wall sconces made with intricately carved detail and soft natural tones and a gorgeous marble effect dance floor. Given its outstanding location on Dixie Highway in enchanting Park Hills, Kentucky, The Vista Room is the perfect setting for all occasions.
With its unique décor, low ceilings
and spacious floor plan, the Arbor Room has a charming yet sophisticated
appeal. The Arbor Room
features an elevated dance floor, carpeting throughout, all
round tables with linen table clothes, beautiful chandeliers
and wall sconces. The Arbor Room will make a lovely backdrop
for any type of event.
